Sketchbook Online 1.2 Notes


General Features

  • The mini-dungeons Abyss and Beach Dungeon have been added
  • A secret optional questline has been added, as well as a number of other secrets
  • Priest and Judge now have  unholy weapons (Blood Storm and Crimson Jaws) and skills you can build into
  • The weapons Pebble Buster (universal), Whackistick (archmage), and Side Cutter (dragoon) have been added
  • Several weapons have been adjusted to be used by every class to encourage more build diversity
  • The Hunting skill has been added, which serves as an optional "kill 50 of these" skill to get dyes for your hair
  • The Cooking skill has also been added, which adds more incentive to the other skills and allows you to make some powerful heals and buffs that can sometimes even help your allies
  • Nomad class added, which serves as a "caveman" playstyle for people who enjoy not having to worry about managing skills and simply having good stat growth Figuring out which universal weapons you can use properly is key

Balance Changes

  • Almost every weapon (usually the underpowered ones) has been buffed or given small quality of life changes, like higher attack speed or larger AOE
  • Almost every class has had their base speed increased
  • Priest spells are now properly split up into intelligence and resistance, so you can decide if you want to focus on stopping enemies or directly assisting allies with heals more
  • All classes now have defense and resistance growth with balances to other systems to accommodate it. This was done to make it feel like gaining or losing these stats mattered more
  • Equipment overall gives more variety in stats and has been made to matter more
  • Several drop tables have been adjusted to be more generous
